Following his suspension,
Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed has been appointed as the acting CJN.
The president stating that he acted based on the request of the
Code of Conduct Tribunal, pending the completion of the suspended CJN Justice Onnoghen’s
trial.
Justice Tanko Mohammed a native of Bauchi State is the most
senior justice of the Supreme Court.and next inline.
