Physical contact in a strong relationship should involve more than just actual sex, make love to your spouse passionately as is pleasing to God. Your spouse was made to complete you even the book of proverbs says “let her  breast satisfy thee at all times and be thou ravished always with her love” so be content with your spouse. Always be willing and ready to meet each others needs and desires. Make her look exactly the way you have imagined and that will be pleasing to you both, as you behold her daily her beauty glows and radiates Gods glory and splendor

I have always told people that I counsel the fact that you stay faithful and focused to your partner or spouse is not only an expression of your love but most especially is an expression of your loyalty to the one that you serve in my case the Almighty God , so it’s a demonstration of your love and devotion to him so you cannot bring yourself low to cheat on your partner , remember that he that lays with an harlot is one spirit and what good can possibly come out of that, be wise!

THE ILLEGALITY OF THE SUSPENSION OF JUSTICE ONNOGHEN BY INIBEHE EFFIONG

Illegality Of The ‘Suspension’ Of Justice Onnoghen: 20 Points To Note.

The purported suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Honourable Justice Walter Onnoghen, by President Muhammadu Buhari is unequivocally unconstitutional, illegal, immoral and grossly indefensible. What General Buhari has done, putting it mildly, is a brazen coup against democracy.

The following 20 (twenty) points are worth noting:

1. The office of the CJN is not a ministerial or extra-ministerial position. It is a creation of Sections 230 (1) (a) and 231 (1) and (2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) (subsequently referred to as ‘the Constitution’).

2. The Chief Justice of Nigeria is the head and symbol of authority of the Nigerian Judiciary. The Judiciary is neither an agency of the federal government nor a department in the Executive. It is one of the three Arms of Government and is established by Section 6 of the Constitution. The CJN is to the judicial arm of government what the President is to the executive arm. The three arms are co-equals and none is subservient to the other.

3. The President cannot appoint or remove the CJN unilaterally. The Constitution has explicitly stated the procedure for the appointment and removal of the CJN and no court, tribunal, president or other authority or person in Nigeria can derogate from, override or alter the said procedure.

4. By Section 231 (1) and (2) of the Constitution, the appointment of the CJN requires the compulsory involvement of the three arms of government. The President appoints the CJN on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council (NJC) subject to the approval of the Senate.

5. By virtue of Section 292 (1) and Paragraph 20 and 21 of the Third Schedule to the Constitution, the CJN enjoys security of tenure and is not removable except within the strict procedure and for the specific reasons enshrined therein.

6. The CJN as a judicial officer can only be removed from office by the President acting on an address supported by two thirds majority of the Senate for his inability to discharge the functions of his office or appointment (whether arising from infirmity of mind or body) or for misconduct or contravention of the Code of Conduct. Anything contrary to this procedure is unconstitutional.

7. The NJC has not recommended the removal of Justice Onnoghen to the President. The NJC has not exercised its exclusive disciplinary control over Justice Onnoghen. Only the NJC is constitutionally vested with the power of disciplinary control, including power of suspension, over a judicial officer. In exercising that power, Section 158 (1) of the Constitution states that the NJC shall not be subject to the direction or control of any other authority or person. See the case of HON. JUSTICE RALIAT ELELU-HABEEB & ANOR. ATTORNEY-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION & 2 ORS. (2012) NWLR (PT. 629) 1011 where the Supreme Court emphatically pronounced on the issue of how a judicial officer can be sanctioned.

8. I have perused the Certified True Copy of the enrolled ex-parte order made by the Code of Conduct Tribunal dated Wednesday, 23rd January, 2019. I find the said order extremely offensive to the Rule of Law. The Order seeks to achieve that which the Constitution has unarguably forbidden.

9. The enrolled order signed by the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Hon. Danladi Y. Umar, and one other member of the Tribunal (Hon. Mrs. Julie A. Anabor), purports to direct Hon. Justice Onnoghen to ‘’step aside’’ as the CJN and Chairman of the NJC pending the determination of the Motion on Notice dated the 10th day of January, 2019. On the face of the said order, the name of the legal practitioner who moved the motion ex-parte is not stated. This is rather strange. Did the Tribunal suo moto (on its own motion) move the motion?

10.  Interestingly, the same Tribunal sat on Tuesday, 22nd January, 2019 and adjourned to Monday, 28th January, 2019 to rule on the Preliminary Objection filed by Justice Onnoghen challenging the jurisdiction of the CCT to try him without recourse to the NJC contrary to the decision of the Court of Appeal in the case of NGANJIWA v FRN (2017) LPELR-43391(CA).

11. The law is firmly settled that once the jurisdiction of a court or judicial tribunal is challenged, the only jurisdiction the court has is to determine whether it has jurisdiction. The CCT having been seized of the frontal challenge to its jurisdiction, could not have granted an ex-parte order on the 23rd of January, 2019 without determining whether it has jurisdiction. In the recent case of ATTORNEY-GENERAL OF THE FEDERATION v. ATTORNEY-GENERAL OF LAGOS STATE (2017) LPELR-42769(SC), the Supreme Court restated this sacrosanct principle thus:
          "There is no gainsaying that issue of jurisdiction is radical and a crucial point which when raised, is challenging the competence of the Court to hear and determine the case. Any proceedings conducted by a Court which does not have jurisdiction, no matter how well or brilliantly it was conducted is a nullity. See Dapianlong vs Dariye (2007) 8 NWLR (pt. 1036) 332. That is the more reason why when Court's jurisdiction is challenged, the Court must first of all assume jurisdiction to decide whether in very clear and unambiguous terms, it has or lacks jurisdiction. See State Dosunmu Mansion vs Halliburton Energy Services Ltd (2007) 2 NWLR [pt.108) 211; Nnonye v Anyichie (2005) 2 NWLR (pt. 910) 623. Per SANUSI, J.S.C. (p. 43-45, pp. D - A).

12.  The CCT, without determining whether it has jurisdiction over Justice Onnoghen as required by law, proceeded to give a flagrantly illegal order purporting to suspend the CJN from office. That order, with the greatest respect, is reminiscent of the inglorious order given by Justice Bassey Ikpeme stopping further announcement of results of the June 12, 1993 presidential election which crystalized into the criminal nullification of the June 12, 1993 election by the Babangida junta."

13.  I have read the long statement made by President Buhari while swearing-in Hon. Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed as the Acting Chief Justice of Nigeria. Buhari struggled unsuccessfully to justify his unlawful action by relying on the order of the CCT. The Constitution does not say that the President shall suspend the CJN based on the order of a court or tribunal. It is a desecration of our Constitution for Buhari to suspend Justice Onnoghen.

14.  Those arguing that the President merely suspended the CJN and has not removed him are either oblivious of the law or willfully mischievous. The CJN is not an appointee of the President and does not hold office at the pleasure of the President.

15.  President Buhari cannot suspend the CJN. The CCT cannot give an order directing the President to remove or suspend the CJN. The CCT cannot ask the CJN to ‘’step aside’’. This conspiratorial attack on the institution of the Judiciary is a dangerous precedent. Can a judge give an order suspending the President from office without recourse to the National Assembly? If the answer is in the negative, why should the President suspend the CJN whose tenure is constitutionally protected without recourse to the NJC and the Senate as prescribed in the Constitution?

16.  The CCT Chairman, Danladi Umar, is himself a subject of a pending criminal charge filed by Mr. Festus Keyamo at the Federal High Court on behalf of the EFCC. The CCT Chairman despite the pendency of the criminal charges against him, has not stepped aside and has not been suspended.

17.  Mr. Okoi Obono-obla, the President’s aide on Public Prosecutions, has not been fired, arrested or prosecuted despite his indictment by the House of Representatives for certificate forgery as attested publicly by the West African Examination Council. Mr. Maina is yet to be prosecuted for allegedly stealing pension funds. There are myriads of odiferous corruption cases against people and officials who are close to this President. Yet, Buhari continues to shield alleged criminals who are his friends and party men. Mr. Buhari is accusing Justice Onnoghen of failure to declare his assets, however, it is on record that Buhari’s own asset declaration is still shrouded in secrecy, and has not been publicly disclosed as he vehemently promised in 2015. What could be more hypocritical than this?

18.  One wonders whether a single Justice of the Supreme Court can determine the decision of the court. The Supreme Court sits in a panel of five or seven Justices. If a decision of the Supreme Court is fraudulent procured through bribery, it is only logical to infer that all or majority of the members of the panel were bribed. I am not holding brief for Justice Onnoghen. However, given the delay that greeted the appointment of Justice Onnoghen, one is tempted to ask whether his security clearance was compromised?

19. Prof. Itse Sagay has stated that the suspension of Justice Onnoghen is constitutional because the President is empowered to remove the CJN for breach of the Code of Conduct. The learned silk, with respect, is turning the law on its head. That line of argument is inconsistent with the right to presumption of innocence enshrined in Section 36(5) of the Constitution. Justice Onnoghen has not been convicted by any court or tribunal. It is therefore preposterous to say that the President can remove him for violating the Code of Conduct.

20.  Let me end by submitting that the atrocious, unconscionable, unconstitutional and duplicitous suspension of the CJN by this vicious and totalitarian regime has eroded our democracy. We all have a duty to oppose and resist it, not for the sake of Justice Onnoghen, but for the sake of posterity and the verdict of history. We should not excuse or defend this crass impunity because of political expediency.

Corruption must be tackled, but not by corrupt means. We must send a message to President Buhari that Nigeria is greater than him.

 *1. In 2019, be more prayerful than ever before*. You can't live your life thinking things happen by coincidence no sir! life is spiritual , the spiritual controls the physical .Victorious people achieve victory first in the spiritual before they are able to see a manifestation of such victories in the material or physical life . Do not run or operate your life in the realm of logic ,life is not logical and do not trust on your sensory perception they will fail you! There's a Supreme Being who handles the affairs of Men and makes things happen, pray to him and trust in him and you will never be defeated.

 *2. Embark on something*.

Don't walk in the entire 365 days without having a game plan or something particular in mind to achieve. Start a building project, a charity organisation, investment opportunity, buy a car, pay some school fees, start some job. Just do something!

 *3. Walk with people wiser or stronger than you, remember he that walks with the wise shall be wise but a companion of fools shall be destroyed proverbs 13:20, surround yourself with people who will inspire you, who will make you feel you can do better, who will challenge you on and give you a reason to keep believing that tomorrow will be better than today just hang in there and keep hoping for a better day remember no condition is permanent tough times dont last but tough people do! make up your mind to stay standing and be counted.

 *4. Check your dressing or appearance*.

Don't put on 'anything' just because it covers your nakedness. Dress the way you want to be addressed ,don't be shabby, Your appearance tells a lot about you. Iron your dress neatly. Don't wear dresses in the name of fashion or trend . Wear more decent but fitting dresses. This is the slogan: Simple but Classy you do  have to be naked to be beautiful.

 *5.  Check how you talk*.do not just talk be mindful of who you are, a king and we know that where the word of the king is there is power so speak edifying words that will inspire others and spur them to excellence,  Before you open your mouth, be minded of who you are talking to, where you are talking, when you are talking and also know that your integrity is at stake. In every situation, choose silence over speech remember silence is golden! unless you don't have any option.

CHERRY: THE AFRICAN STAR APPLE

The African star apple as described by Fr Anselm Adodo, locally called Cherry, is in full bloom. You can see the fruits on sales along the highways and roadsides all over the country, especially in the Southern part of Nigeria. Cherry, botanically called Chrysophyllum albidum, belongs to the family of Sapotaceae.

It is popularly called Udara in Igbo, Agbalumo in Yoruba, and Otien in Edo. While many find the taste unpleasant, some find the sticky nature of the inner pulp of the fruit unappealing. The health benefits of cherry are what makes it difficult to ignore. Compared with other fruits, cherry is among the healthiest fruits available.

Cherry is a good source of calcium providing about 10% of the amount needed by the body. Calcium lends strength to the bones and teeth, and it may also lessen symptoms of premenstrual syndrome.

Cherry is highly recommended for pregnant women because it reduces salivation and is one of the best natural sources of Vitamin A and C. In fact, the Vitamin C found in the pulp of cherry is said to be higher than the ascorbic content of Orange and guava.

The fruit also provides calories which makes the fruit a good snack. The fruit possesses antioxidant properties which give the body a better chance of fighting and avoiding heart disease and cancer. The fruit contains fibre which aids digestion, and it is also ideal for weight watchers.

While most people seem to be interested only in the cherry fruit, all other parts of the plant are in fact very useful. The leaves contain hypoglycemic (lowering blood sugar) properties and anti-platelet activities. The stem can be used as a chewing stick as it contains anti-bacterial properties and is a natural remedy for a toothache, constipation and indigestion. Remember to swallow your spit when using the stem as a chewing stick.

The roots and barks when boiled are excellent remedies for cough, yellow fever, high blood pressure and Diabetes. An infusion of the leaves can be used to wash wounds as an antiseptic, and as remedies for diarrhoea, and constipation.

In this age when many people are struggling with of obesity, cherry is a good fruit to have around. The fruit is excellent for maintaining a healthy metabolism, and therefore suitable for losing weight. It is unfortunate that after eating the pulp of the cherry fruit, we always throw away the skin.

The cherry skin is, in fact, one of the most medicinal parts of the cherry plant. I recommend chopping the rind into pieces and then blend a handful in half a litre of water. This is one of the best preparations for weight loss and for diabetes. Blending the skin gives you access to the full benefits of the fibre, and you will be amazed at the burst of energy you will feel after drinking it.

BUHARI RELEASES STATEMENT IN DEFENSE OF SUSPENSION OF JUSTICE ONNOGHEN AND APPOINTMENT OF ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE

Following the appointment of a new acting Chief Justice of Nigeria in acting capacity midst several protest from different Quarters the president has released a statement from his twitter handle below are the full details.

ADDRESS BY HIS EXCELLENCY, MUHAMMADU BUHARI, PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA, ON THE SUSPENSION OF HONOURABLE JUSTICE WALTER NKANU SAMUEL ONNOGHEN AS CHIEF JUSTICE OF NIGERIA AND SWEARING IN OF ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE, 25TH JANUARY 2019



Fellow Nigerians,

A short while ago, I was served with an Order of the Code of Conduct Tribunal issued on Wednesday 23rd January 2019, directing the suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Walter Nkanu Samuel Onnoghen from office pending final determination of the cases against him at the Code of Conduct Tribunal and several other fora relating to his alleged breach of the Code of Conduct for Public Officers.

2.      The nation has been gripped by the tragic realities of no less a personality than the Chief Justice of Nigeria himself becoming the accused person in a corruption trial since details of the petition against him by a Civil Society Organization first became public about a fortnight ago.

3.      Although the allegations in the petition are grievous enough in themselves, the security agencies have since then traced other suspicious transactions running into millions of dollars to the CJN’s personal accounts, all  undeclared or improperly declared as required by law.


4.      Perhaps more worrisome is the Chief Justice of Nigeria’s own written admission to the charges that he indeed failed to follow the spirit and letter of the law in declaring his assets, citing ’’mistake’’ and ’’forgetfulness’’ which are totally unknown to our laws as defences in the circumstances of his case.

5.      One expected that with his moral authority so wounded, by these serious charges of corruption, more so by his own written admission, Mr. Justice Walter Onnoghen would have acted swiftly to spare our Judicial Arm further disrepute by removing himself from superintending over it while his trial lasted.

6.      Unfortunately, he has not done so. Instead, the nation has been treated to the sordid spectacle of a judicial game of wits in which the Chief Justice of Nigeria and his legal team have made nonsense of the efforts of the Code of Conduct Tribunal to hear the allegation on merit and conclude the trial as quickly as possible considering the nature of the times in which we live.

7.      Whether deliberately or inadvertently, we have all seen the full weight of the Chief Justice of Nigeria descend on the tender head of one of the organs of justice under his control. There is simply no way the officers of that court, from the Chairman to the bailiffs, can pretend to be unaffected by the influence of the leader of the Judiciary.


8.      Not only the trial court, but others have been put on the spot. Practically every other day since his trial commenced, the nation has witnessed various courts granting orders and counter-orders in favour of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, all of them characterised by an unholy alacrity between the time of filing, hearing and delivery of judgment in same.

9.      The real effect has been a stalling of the trial of Justice Onnoghen, helped along by lawyers who insist that these orders, whether right or wrong are technically valid, and must be obeyed till an appellate Court says otherwise. No doubt, that it is the proper interpretation, but is it the right disposition for our nation?

10.    Nigeria is a constitutional democracy and no one must be, or be seen to be, above the law. Unfortunately, the drama around the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria has challenged that pillar of justice in the perception of the ordinary man on the street. For it is certain that no ordinary Nigerian can get the swift and special treatment Justice Onnoghen has enjoyed from his subordinates and privies in our Judicature.

11.      In the midst of all these distracting events, the essential question of whether the accused CJN actually has a case to answer has been lost in the squabble over the form and nature of his trial. This should not be so.

12.      If Justice cannot be done and clearly seen to be done, society itself is at risk of the most unimaginable chaos. As a Government, we cannot stand by wailing and wringing our hands helplessly but give our full backing and support to those brave elements within the Judiciary who act forthrightly, irrespective of who is involved.

13.      As you are all aware, the fight against corruption is one of the tripod of policies promised to Nigerians by this administration.  Needless to say that it is an existential Policy which must be given adequate attention and commitment by all the three arms of government. The efforts of the Executive will amount to nothing without the cooperation of the Legislature and especially the Judiciary.

14.      It is no secret that this government is dissatisfied with the alarming rate in which the Supreme Court of Nigeria under the oversight of Justice Walter Onnoghen has serially set free, persons accused of the most dire acts of corruption, often on mere technicalities, and after quite a number of them have been convicted by the trial and appellate courts.

15.      Since there is nothing the Executive Arm can do after the apex court of the land has spoken on any matter, several of these individuals walk free among us today, enjoying what are clearly the proceeds of the corruption which for so long has defeated the efforts of this nation to develop and prosper.

16.    It is against this background that I have received the Order of the Code of Conduct Tribunal directing me to suspend the Chief Justice pending final determination of the cases against him. It also explains why I am not only complying immediately, but with some degree of relief for the battered sensibilities of ordinary Nigerians whose patience must have become severely over-taxed by these anomalies.

17.      In line with this administration’s avowed respect for the Rule of Law, I have wholeheartedly obeyed the Order of the Code of Conduct Tribunal dated 23rd January 2019.

18.      Accordingly, I hereby suspend the Honourable Mr. Justice Walter Nkanu Samuel Onnoghen, GCON as the Chief Justice of Nigeria pending final determination of the case against him at the Code of Conduct Tribunal.

19.      In further compliance with the same Order of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, I hereby invite Honourable Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed JSC, being the next most Senior Justice in the Supreme Court, to come forward to take the Judicial Oath as Chief Justice of Nigeria in an Acting Capacity.

20.    Fellow Nigerians, we can only stand a chance to win the fight against Corruption, and position our dear nation for accelerated development when we stand together to contend against it.

NIGER DELTA MILITANTS: NIGERIA WILL SHUTDOWN IF CHARGES AGAINST THE CHIEF JUSTICE ONNOGHEN IS NOT DROPPED!

Information reaching us reveals the latest threat emanating from the camp of the Niger Delta militants who live within the creeks of an imminent shutdown of the nation if the latest charges against the chief justice of the Nigeria (CJN) is not dropped earlier reported by the Vanguard Newspaper.

 – Niger Delta agitators have vowed to shut down the country if the Federal Government goes ahead with the intimidation of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen. Justice Onnoghen

This statement was issued on Sunday, the coalition of the agitators also warned all non indigenes who owned oil wells in the coastal area to prepare to vacate their zone, at the same time issuing a stern warning to the supporters of this administration.

The statement signed by General John Dukku of the Niger Delta Watchdogs and Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators and a host of others said that President Buhari has never been disposed to the appointment of the CJN, saying it was why he delayed his appointment as the country’s chief law office after many months in acting capacity. The statement added that the CJN was suffering because he hails from the south south minority zone.

“The General Assembly of the Coalition of Niger Delta Agitators is shocked to learn about the arraignment of the Chief Justice of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Justice Walter Onnoghen over allegations of his false declaration of assets based on a petition written by one Mr. Dennis Aghanya of the Anti-Corruption and Research Based Data Initiative.

The CJN is suffering just because he is from the minority area of the South South the Niger Delta region. This is definitely a petition plotted by the Presidency to forcefully remove the incumbent CJN from office and replace him with a Northerner.

“In the first instance, President Muhammadu Buhari was not disposed to Justice Omnoghens appointment to this position which is why he refused to confirm the appointment after so many months of serving in Acting capacity. It was during the period of his sickness while in Britain that the Acting President Prof. Osinbajo confirmed the appointment.

We wish to also recall that in August last year, Mr. Matthew Seiyefa of Bayelsa State who was the most senior and most qualified officer at the time was appointed to the position of Acting Director-General of the Department of State Security by Prof. Osinbajo, only to be replaced with a retired and junior officer to Mr. Seiyefa, Mr. Yusuf Magji Bichi by President Buhari as soon as he resumed duties.

We hereby vehemently resist any attempt to remove CJN Walter Onnoghen from office. “These go to confirm that there is a high level of hatred, injustice, discrimination and marginalization of the Niger Delta region by the APC-led government over the past three years.

“Before the 2015 elections, we can recall several events that took place in the political arena which can now be confirmed were done to discredit the government of President Goodluck Jonathan. Nationwide protests in 2012 led by top labour leaders and Civil Rights activists including the current APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, Professor Wole Soyinka, Femi Falana, and Festus Kenyamo greeted the government of the day against the removal of oil subsidy and resultant increases in the pump prices of the nations petroleum products. After much persistence, government had to bow to the will of the people.

“During the campaign for re-election in 2015, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan a South South indigene was attacked in Bauchi state, we also witnessed how Northerners and Yorubas embarrassed him, even those he trusted betrayed him and did everything possible to remove him because he is from a minority tribe in Niger Delta.

Therefore, we want to inform Nigerians and the International Community that any attempt for President Buhari to continue in office beyond May 2019 will be resisted by all means necessary. If they succeed in rigging election and bring back Buhari, then Nigeria should prepare to exist without the Niger Delta oil, Niger Delta will not be part of Nigeria anymore. The Northerners should also prepare to leave the Niger Delta if President Buhari continue beyond May 2019; we are prepared to strike once and for all and declare our Sovereign Niger Delta Republic.

 “What, however, surprises us is the fact that the same people and groups that protested against the petroleum subsidy removal and increases in prices of the petroleum products are the ones who gave President Buhari the nod to commence the subsidy removal without any record of protests. This goes to confirm without any iota of doubt, that the protests against the Jonathan administration were embarked upon basically because he is from the Niger Delta region.

Similarly, protests against the Chibok Girls abduction, and complaints about widespread corruption, high prices of commodity items, etc were the order of the day. They declared that they needed change; thus, they ganged up, humiliated and betrayed Jonathan out of office and brought President Buhari to power. But today the much desired changed has metamorphosed into chains and those so called activists and civil rights protagonists are keeping mum even in the face of human rights abuses, and deployment of draconian laws reminiscent of the military era.

“Today, the prices of items have increased geometrically and basic household items are no longer affordable to teeming Nigerians. Price of petrol is now N145 per litre as against N87 during Jonathans regime. A Bag of Rice now costs between N17,000 and N18,000 as against N7,000 – N8,000 during the immediate past regime. “Even though Boko Haram insurgency was prominent during Jonathans regime, it is now beyond control.

We understand that Governor Shettima of Borno who was against the use of military action against the insurgents by the then Government on the pretext that innocent and harmless citizens shall be killed in the military operations, is now crying that the insurgency is beyond him.

As soon as APC government came into power in 2015, Fulani Herdsmen started killings; today Fulani Herdsmen have killed uncountable number of Nigerians, burn villages, maim and rape women with impunity without any arrest or prosecution. Today the insecurity in the country has degenerated to a point where people can no longer sleep with their eyes closed, the situation is same in Borno, Yobe, Zamfara including Katsina state, the home of President Buhari.

If President Buhari cannot secure his own people in Katsina State, how can he secure the whole Nigeria? “Of course, he and his fellow tribalists should remember that whatever goes round, comes around.

Even the so called fight against corruption is very selective, and ridiculously those who are branding the past PDP-led government as the most corrupt are those who had been part of the government since 1999 as governors, legislators, political appointees, etc., but today they are not ashamed to blame the government of which they were an integral part, for the alleged failures and bastadization of the economy. People like former Speaker and Governor Rotimi Amaechi, now Buharis Campaign Director General and former Governor now Senator, Godswill Akpabio who had corruptly enriched themselves during their tenures have now found the APC their safe heaven.

“The nations poverty index has skyrocketed, the rate of unemployment has increased. Today, Buhari is busy trying to extradite erstwhile Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke from London, while under his very nose, billions of naira are being drained fraudulently by the Aso Rock Cabal and his political appointees and key office holders across the nation.

The NNPC has become a conduit pipe for siphoning the nations financial resources. But to President Buhari and the Cabal, nothing bad is happening in the governments led by the APC. the thieves are in the PDP-ruled States. Benue, Rivers and Akwa Ibom States must be constantly harassed and their accounts frozen because they are not APC.

A recent case in point is the alleged corruption charge with admissible evidence leveled against Governor Ganduje of Kano State, who PMB has already declared to be the best Governor in Nigeria.

“Nigeria is in a confused state as recently declared by the United States of America. APC is prepared to win the forthcoming elections by force. They have refused to campaign because they have nothing to tell the people about the past three years of their governance. Thus, they are preparing to win by any means through Vote Buying and falsification of election results through INEC and Security Agencies.

We have now come to the conclusion that if Buhari returns to power the country will no longer be safe. If Nigeria will remain as one indivisible unit, it will have to survive without the Niger Delta crude oil. We call on those who ganged up, protested and humiliated Goodluck Jonathan out of office, to rise up and do same to President Muhammadu Buhari whose government is the worst in the history of governance in the country.

“It is quite unfortunate that recently the Buhari-led APC government has resorted to harassment and intimidation of opposition with impunity, it is a glaring fact that the massive corruption currently going on in the APC led government has placed Nigeria as one of the worlds most corrupt country, yet Buhari is celebrating corrupt officials as long as they are APC members.

“We therefore want to state categorically that if the Presidency failed to reverse it harassment against the CJN, we will have no other option than to mobilize all the Niger Delta fighters and commence serious actions that would shake the country and the whole world; we shall shut down all the oil wells in the Niger Delta.

We also call on all the Northerners and Yorubas who own oil wells in the Niger Delta to prepare to vacate immediately, we also want to warn our Niger Delta brothers who are working for Buhari to watch their back and know that we are watching them and their family members, we warn them to stop campaigning for Buhari in the Niger Delta. Be warned”

The APC Replies former President Obasanjo, Says Buhari’s! Achievements Will Speak For Him

The All Progressive Congress (APC) has lambasted the former President Olusegun Obasanjo for accusing President Muhammadu Buhari of plotting to rig the coming presidential election.

At an interactive session with reporters in Abuja on Sunday, the APC National Publicity Secretary Lanre Issa-Onilu insisted that the party has no reason to do so.

He said that the allegation of plot to rig the poll was a mere fantasy  of the former president

Issa-Onilu said, “ his past is haunting him.”

“2003 and 2007 elections were nothing to write home about, those happened under former President Obasanjo. We all know how the elections went. So, for us in the APC, votes will count.”

The APC spokesman stressed that President Buhari has no reason to rig the election, having promised Nigerians that he would ensure the votes were free and fair.

He added that while the President’s work would speak for him at the poll, it was during former President Obasanjo’s administration that manipulation of the electoral process was alleged a norm.

Issa-Onilu further advised the former president to align himself to the reality of what he described as an imminent defeat.

“We are going to have a free, credible and fair election,” he insisted. “We have no reasons to want to rig election; our achievements speak for us.”

“Former President Obasanjo should adjust himself to the imminent defeat that is staring him in the face.”

The APC spokesman made the comments hours after former President Obasanjo accused President Buhari of planning to rig the election scheduled to hold next month.

Obasanjo, who read out an open letter entitled “Point for Concern and Action” to reporters at his residence in Abeokuta, had also alleged that the nation was returning to the era of late General Sani Abacha.

He said President Buhari lacked the competence to offer Nigeria what it really deserved at this moment.

The presidential candidate of the PDP Atiku Abubakar returned from the US ahead of the presidential debate but at the twelfth hour makes a u-turn below are excerpt from his release:
"We came here for a Presidential debate, not a candidacy debate, and I, Atiku Abubakar can not challenge or question an administration where the man at the helm of the affairs of the nation is not present to defend himself or his policies. After all you cannot shave a man's head in his absence. I do not believe in attacking a man who is NOT here to defend himself. As a leader and former vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, let me first apologise to all Nigerians, my fellow candidates and the moderator for the the APC Presidential Candidates absence in this debate. His non-appearance is a slight on ALL of us and our democracy.

Secondly, with all due respect to my fellow candidates, Fela Durotoye, Oby Ezekwesili,  Kingsley Moghalu and to the moderator Mark Sugar and with apologies to all Nigerians here and at home expecting an interesting debate, I regret that I will not be able to go on with this debate due to President Buhari's absence.

I however challenge President Buhari to choose a date and time for a debate where he will be present and I will be there, hopefully with the other candidates as well.

...INEC ANNOUNCES THE WINNER OF THE 2019 ELECTIONS...

....And the day finally came after the much awaited and prolonged well fought battle of the Titans an election that many have tagged as the battle of the generals against the Lion of Bourdilon or perhaps against two great Northerners both of the same tribe but with different Orientation to leadership.

After the 2015 elections that saw a new administration assume office and the former government of the Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan voted out of power, Nigerians were filled with a lot of expectations and hopes at the new dawn amidst what was termed a corrupt government with high level of impunity handling public funds.

Many have been so dissapointed with expectations shattered when the new administration took office  broken promises are rife ,Boko Haram still on rampage in the north east, heardsmen killing and insecurity across the states and outcry of the poor to the deteriorating state of the economy.

In fairness to the government there has been a clampdown on corrupt persons and politicians ,some looted funds have returned, few found their ways back to the treasury for fear of not been jailed, while a few settled for plea bargain and promised to return part of the looted funds an act that is unprecedented in the history of our nation .

The drama is unfolding everyday, campaign is ongoing for some, while a few are busy scheming their rigging tactics and as the chairman of a popular political party once said that the contestant that wins an election is the one that rigged the most; How ironic!
The voters have their weapon in their pockets in readiness for the election, political heavy weights are busy perfecting the vote buying methods a vice that has developed a hydra headed approach metamorphosing from snatching ballot boxes, voter intimidation ,bribing corrupt officials to swindle votes and has now grown to the actual payment of cash in exchange for voting for a particular political party popularly called in local palance as "rabo ko sebe" meaning vote and prepare a pot of soup!

and finally the result of the election when announced will surely be the candidate  that  buys the highest votes or the candidate that rigs the most and outrigs others or perhaps what most honest Nigerians pray and look forward to the candidate that will be brought in by the power of the people ,the voting power! time they say heals all wounds and Nigerians will know if indeed "the pen in this case the pvc is mightier than the sword (highest bidder or best cheat) time will tell....
